Please join us to celebrate volume 26.2.  Poets Robert Nazarene and Jeff Hamilton will be reading their work from the current issue.  Special guest St. Louis Poet Laureate Michael Castro will discuss his long relationship with poetry and jazz in combination with Tracy Andreotti and Henry Claude.

This event is open to the public.  An appetizer buffet and wine and beer will be available.

They will focus on compelling beginnings, authentic dialogue, and strategies for organizing your ideas and material. We’ll provide you with key tools to begin or return to your writing projects with confidence and purpose and help you share your stories with a broader audience. Presented in a partnership with the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival.  $75 for subscribers/$95 for non-subscribers.

an intimate evening of conversation with Marge Piercy as we celebrate a 52-year relationship, the release of Vol. 27.1, and her selections of the winners of the 2016 Jeff Marks Memorial Poetry Prize. Marge will read her poems that have appeared in recent issues of december, and talk about writing, politics, activism, religion, and more. Presented in a partnership with the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival.
