for an intimate evening of conversation with Marge Piercy as we celebrate a 52-year relationship, the release of Vol. 27.1, and her selections of the winners of the 2016 Jeff Marks Memorial Poetry Prize. Marge will read her poems that have appeared in recent issues of december, and talk about writing, politics, activism, religion, and more. Presented in a partnership with the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival. Marge Piercy is the best-selling author of 17 novels, 19 volumes of poetry, and a critically acclaimed memoir. A Detroit native, she earned degrees from the University of Michigan and Northwestern and holds four honorary degrees.
